Hi dave just to let you know i tied this fly and on my second cast caught an amazing 9lb rainbow that gave me the fight of my life thanks for the pattern keep up the good work
We use this in South Africa to very great success targeting our smallmouth yellowfish in gin clear lakes.
We have slight differences here and there, but all in all it is basically the same fly!
You now gave me a great idea for legs, we use hackle for legs but this looks like it will work much better!
You have probably the best fly tying videos ive ever seen.. I love them!
