its not about being sloppy….you can tie fly’s the way you want theres no right or wrong….I use the the wooly bugger that he ties in the video and it is very effective…and im sure the way you tie yours is good to.
It’s chenille not channel. Channel is a perfume that comes in a No. 5
bad fly tying
Bro…u r a very sloppy tier!
Tie on the tail first, then the lead. You get a more even body.
This guy was pretty sloppy tyer.
Well Said!
It is just as malleable as the stuff he used in the video. I think it should be fine. Also solder now a days does not contain any lead. So it would be a more environmentally friendly solution
I bet you can not sure if it can tie on a fly it can be used.
can you use solder for the lead? I have tonnes of that.
he has a shit load of marabou and chenile
Dont “tie in” the lead. before you start the thread wrap the lead on in smooth touching turns. Then start your thread and secure the lead onto the shank with crossing turns.
Dork Daves, Jerks outdoors lol
yea with more lead weight or less.
can u tie buggers so that they sink faster or slower?
